The story behind FMR
The owners behind it all
Adrian and Pam purchased FMR in 2020 and TRS Wholesale was born. Having run a successful Tractor dealership with 5 branches in NZ, purchasing the business made sense, narrowing down the portfolio and refining the business has provided the potential to stock and distribute two very reputable brands that work well alongside their portfolio at Tractor Repairs & Spares.
Innovation for Growth
Marlborough, New Zealand is home to many millions of grape vines which push their roots deep into the stony soil in search of the water and nutrients they need to flourish and produce outstanding wines. In the same manner, the FMR brand has evolved, drawing inspiration and direction from the experience and passion of our team together with the expertise and specialist knowledge of our industry partners, combining these to produce outstanding and innovative machinery.
Never satisfied with the status quo, the mantra behind the FMR brand has always been “how can we do it better?”
We are constantly searching for improvement, whether through our own development programs or through partnering with other emerging technologies and integrating these into our products.
We are not just focused on solving today’s problems, we anticipate the challenges that lie ahead and how we can help our customers overcome these obstacles.
We have been fortunate enough over the years to have relationships with great people from the rural industries we seek to serve, including owners, managers, operators, contractors and consultants and across a broad scale of operation size from the largest corporate businesses to the smallest boutique operations. Their insights, feedback and advice has guided the development of the FMR product portfolio to overcome the various challenges, concerns and requests that were presented to us.
Meet Our Team
At TRS Wholesale, we are a small close-knit team based in Marlborough, New Zealand. We specialise in manufacturing FMR Sprayers and are the NZ distributors for ERO vineyard equipment. We are proud of the fact that we support other local businesses and contribute to one of New Zealand’s largest industries. As the company continues to grow, our emphasis is on providing world-class quality products, and service & parts support that we are proud of.
Why FMR
The FMR brand was born in Marlborough, New Zealand and whilst you will find our machines in a number of countries including Australia, North America and Asia, these are all manufactured right here in New Zealand by TRS Wholesale Ltd.
We concentrate our efforts on creating the very best products to support vineyard and orchard customers. Our customer’s results and experiences reflect this commitment to excellence and continue to strengthen our reputation for manufacturing industry-leading machinery.

All of these represent a wasted opportunity, the opportunity to do it right, do it once and do it well.
We built our machines to be intuitive, durable and incredibly precise. Over the years, our products have helped orchards and vineyards save on wasted chemicals from off-target spray drift, reduce labour expenses and ultimately, better protect their fruit from disease.
