Product details

The tangential fan delivery system applies a full ‘curtain’ of air from top to bottom of the canopy to ensure an even, precise coverage to all target surfaces, getting your spray exactly where it’s needed, not at it, around it or drifting away towards your neighbour.

The best bit is, that your operator does not need an engineering degree to set the sprayer up for a great result. No need to spend ages setting multiple head angles or aligning jets only to have them shift as soon as you go over the first bump. With FMR you simply select the row width with the control module in the cab and spray. The fans will not go out of alignment when you go over a bump or require the set-up process to begin again when shifting to another row space. It’s that simple, point and shoot. Job done well. Great grapes, great wine.

Another feature that operators love about the FMR sprayer is the noise, or rather the lack of it. The tangential fans are so quiet that you can barely hear them over the tractor’s engine. Nobody likes to spend hours in a tractor with a sprayer screaming like a jet engine. On the safety subject, removing the PTO shaft and driving the entire machine via hydraulics is another popular feature as connecting some hydraulic lines is the work of a few moments and it’s almost impossible to hurt yourself whilst doing it. Hefting a wide-angle PTO shaft into place is not fun, let alone maintaining it or replacing it at regular intervals.

For large-scale vineyards and contractors, the optional third row kit really boosts productivity, covering 50% more in every pass. By using the tangential fan, the third row is sprayed with exactly the same precision as the rest, with no compromise on the result. The unique feature offered by the FMR is that the third row kit has its own independent hydraulic width adjustment system, meaning these heads can be positioned perfectly at the touch of a button in the cab instead of struggling to shift it manually every time or worse, not adjusting it and compromising the result.

Like all FMR sprayers, the V-Series range is robust, designed and manufactured to withstand the tough conditions and large-scale vineyards that we know are a fact of life across our industry.

Spraying your vineyard should not be a complex, dirty, labour-intensive job that nobody wants to do!

When every berry counts…FMR is the right choice.
“There were times when others around me were really struggling and the consultant would come around and be amazed that our fruit was so clean when others close nearby were battling to control disease.”
Peter Law
This is the number one reason we run FMR sprayers in our business
The FMR sprayers are easy to set up and operate. No heavy PTO shaft to struggle with, just simple hydraulic connections to plug in. No constant adjustments or complex setups are needed. The FMR is essentially a plug-and-play operation.

We're able to consistently spray 40-45 hectares per day
“We believe that these sprayers give superior coverage in a wider range of conditions, with increased efficiency. Most importantly, the spray delivery is protected by the shields, minimising spray drift and we can recycle up to 25% of chemicals through the spray season”.
